(hes the post man we all love) John has lived in Vyheimyr longer than most can remember. Quiet, dependable, and always punctual, he works each morning at the local post office, delivering letters with the same care wheter they carry joyful news or heavy words. Many assume he simply prefers a simple life, but few know the reason he never left. Years ago, John arrived in Vyheimyr with his wife, Eleanor. She was the dreamer between them, captivated by the town's calm paths, open skies, and close-knit community. Vyheimyr, she said, felt like a place where life could finally slow down. John followed her dream without hesitation, taking a modest job at the post office while they planned a future together. Vyheimyr had been her dream. Every street he walks, every letter he delivers, feels like a quiet promise kept. The routine gives him purpose, and the letters, filled with hope, apologies, and love, remind him that connections still matter, even when loss lingers. John lives alone now, in a small house not far from the post office. He doesn't speak much of the past, but on certain mornings, if you catch him pausing before delivering the first letter of the day, you might notice him smile softly- remembering the dream that brough him here, and the love that keeps him staying.

Practical, dependable, and quietly friendly. Hank isn’t one for long conversations, but he deeply appreciates anyone willing to lend a hand. He takes pride in keeping Briarwood Farm running smoothly and making sure orders arrive on time. Though he can come across as gruff at first, he has a dry sense of humour and a strong sense of responsibility. Hank has worked the land most of his life, learning the trade from family long before Briarwood Farm became a regular supplier for the town. As demand for crops has grown, managing deliveries alone has become increasingly difficult. With Mary focused on keeping the fields healthy, Hank relies on passing players to help ensure orders reach their destinations.
Warm, hardworking, and quietly resilient. Mary is deeply connected to the land and takes great pride in maintaining healthy crops. She is kind and welcoming to players but expects effort in return — she values those who are willing to help rather than complain. Calm under pressure; she is the steady heart of Briarwood Farm. Mary has always believed that a good harvest begins with care and patience. While Hank handles the farm’s outward-facing work, Mary spends long days in the fields ensuring crops are watered and tended properly. With the farm expanding, even routine tasks like watering have become overwhelming, making outside help essential.
Elowen was raised on her grandparents' farm, where mornings began with feeding animals. Her grandparents had worked the land the same way for decades, quietly, carefully, and without ever asking more of it than it could give. When the town introduced a new economy, her grandparents paid little attention. They were content with barter and local exchanges, unsure of markets, coins, and change. Elowen, however, saw opportunity, not for wealth, but for survival and stability. She was the one who explained how the new economy worked: pricing, demand, and fair trade. She convinced them that a small market stall wouldn't betray their values. With some hesitation, they agreed. Now, Elowen runs the stall on their behalf.
Loira arrived in Ventura without much notice. She didn't come looking for attention, just a place that felt steady. Growing up, she learned to be independent early on, helping wherever she could and listening more than she spoke. She started out trading small goods and supplies, slowly earning trust through consistency rather than promises. Loira believes that communities aren't built by grand gestures, but by showing up early every day, even when no one is watching. She doesn't talk much about her past, but she's known for remembering names, offering fair prices, and staying late to help when something goes wrong. To many, Loira represents the kind of person who keeps a place running, not because they have to, but because they care.
Maribel is a 24 year old market vendor who specializes in herbs and spices, many of which she grows herself or trades for with travelers and small growers. She learned early how to dry, blend, and preserve plants, turning what began as a personal interest into a livelihood. She enjoys experimenting with new blends and listening to costumers' needs, believing that every herb has a purpose when used correctly. Though she's still finding her footing, her stall is quickly becoming known for quality and care.
Sugar Foot is a small pony rescued years ago by the Briarwood Family after being found wandering alone and underfed on the outskirts of town. He had learned early on that sweet smells meant survival, and food was never guaranteed. The Briarwoods took him in, gave him patience, routine, and a safe place to rest. Though he's healthy now, Sugar Foot still struggles with self-control around treats, specially anything baked or peppermint scented. He isn't mischievous by nature, just hopeful. When Sugar Foot smells something familiar and comforting, he follows it without thinking.
The owner of the flowershop in ventura.
Christmas warp showjumping quest
maze assistant but for xmas warp
Gregory grew up watching the town change with the seasons, how winter slows everything down, how familiar faces disappear for a while, and how some traditions only surface when the snow arrives. When Winterhoof Café first opened, Gregory took the job knowing winter would bring long quiet hours. Christmas is Gregory’s favourite time to work, not because it’s busy, but because it’s fleeting. People come in softer, speak more kindly, and linger a little longer. He knows that once the season passes, the pace will change again, and that’s okay.
Borisnik Frostovitch appears only during the coldest weeks of the year. Some say he follows the snow rather than the roads. Others insist they’ve seen him in different places on the same day. He never explains where he comes from. People whisper that Borisnik doesn’t trade in goods as much as he trades in stories. He listens closely, asks strange questions, and offers gossip in return. Most of them turn out to be exaggerated. Some turn out to be true in unexpected ways.
Yeti is a perfectly ordinary wild horse with a very unfortunate name. He was given the name “Yeti” years ago during a particularly snowy winter, when his white winter coat grew unusually thick and fluffy. Whoever named him thought it was amusing at the time. The name stuck. Yeti wandered away from his original pasture one winter and discovered the cave by accident. Sheltered from the wind and warmer than it looked, it became his favourite resting spot on colder days. He never meant to scare anyone; he just enjoys quiet places.
He's in charge of all the other elves in the Christmas village.

Sonnet comes from the quiet coast of Vyheimyr, where she grew up surrounded by nature. Her parents encourgaed curiosity early on, and she spent a lot of her childhood collecting shells, watching insects, and asking too many questions. That curiosity eventually turned into a love for science. She lives in a cute on-campus apartment with one roommate. Sonnet prefers calm environments like libraries, labs, and quiet cafés where she can focus or unwind after long study sessions. At the university, she's an active member of the Equine Science Club, helping organize experiments, tutoring sessions, and outreach events. She's known as reliable and thoughtful, though a bit shy in social situations outside her academic circle. Sonnet believes science can help people understand and unite the equine world better, even if she struggles to apply that idea to her own feelings. (wink)
Fritz grew-up in the middle of town but was raised around the riding community. His family owns a small equestrian supply business (could be Equisentials). From a young age, he helped with promotions, social media posts, and event booths at riding competitions, which sparked his interest in marketing, specifically within the equine world. He chose the University because it offered both a strong marketing program and an active polo team, allowing him to combine academics with his love for horses and polo. Fritz believes the equestrian industry has huge potential but struggles with outdated branding, and he wants to modernie how horse sports are marketed to younger audiences. Fritz lives in his own apartment in town closer to the stables. People often see him as confident, but he quietly worries about living up to expectations, both as an athlete and as someone expected to take over or expand the family business someday.

Owner of Blackburn Farm, father to Connor Blackburn and husband of Livie Blackburn. He oversees the fields themselves, the crop rotations and the grain silos of Blackburn Farm. He has a competitive drive. Competitors, specifically the Briarwood family, whisper Micah's name more than the rest of the Blackburns. They claim he knows too much about soil that should have failed seasons ago. That he can tell when a field isn't doing well just by standing in it, that blight avoids him.
Co-owner of Blackburn Farm, mother to Connor Blackburn and wife of Micah Blackburn. The quiet backbone of the Blackburn Farm. Livie is observant, sharp-minded, patient, and deceptively gentle. She listens more than she speaks, storing information away about others the same way she catalogs soil conditions and weather patterns When she does speak, it's typically with intention, and insight that shifts conversations. Livie manages seed selections, crop rotation records and soil enrichment blends. She quietly experiments in her greenhouse, keeping handwritten journals filled with notes on moon phases, rainfall patterns, and changes in crop behaviors Livie is known for her healing salves, preserves and teas made from herbs in her greenhouse, hidden behind tall hedges. Neighbors often come to her with aches, fevers and worries they wouldn't voice aloud. Livie never gossips, trust is sacred to her.
Son of Livie and Micah Blackburn He was taught the rhythms of planting and harvest, but unlike his father, Connor listens to the land with curiosity rather than certainty. Connor is strong from labor but restless in life. He's thoughtful, quick to smile, and quicker to question tradition that others accept without thinking. Where Micah sees competition as proof of worth, Connor sees it as a wall that keeps people apart. Connor handles the physical aspects of the farm. The irrigation, tool repair, animal care. His true gift is innovation. He tinkers with new planting techniques, crossbreeds crops in quiet corners of the fields, and sketches ideas for shared water systems he never shows his father. Livie notices, Micah doesn't. onnor and Elowen met years ago at a market exchange. Two teenagers tasked with watching stalls as their parents eyed one another like enemies What began as shared complaints, turned into long conversations, and then stolen meetings near the harbor. He dreams of uniting methods, Livie's balance, Micah's ambition and Elowen's strategic insight into something stronger
